Serengeti walking safaris

ENORMOUS, ROADLESS, AND WILD.

This is the classic safari landscape — golden acacia-dotted plains, roaming lions, wide skies, and endless horizons. Our Serengeti walking safaris are designed for total bush immersion — no vehicles, no crowds, no distractions. Just you, your expert guide, and the untamed wild.

We are privileged with exclusive access to nearly 500 square kilometres of remote Serengeti National Park — a roadless zone few ever get to see on foot. Here, we offer walking safaris ranging from 3-day journeys to our legendary 10-day, 100 km Great Serengeti Traverse. This is more than a safari — it’s a step back in time.

Walk The Wild Side Of The Serengeti

In our private area, the terrain unfolds in classic Serengeti fashion:

  • Open acacia savanna

  • Rolling hills and majestic kopjes (rocky outcrops)

  • Meandering river systems

  • Abundant wildlife

You’ll walk among elephants, buffalo, giraffe, zebra, and over a dozen antelope species. Leopards and lions are also regularly seen. Every day brings new opportunities to spot, stalk, and observe wildlife at eye level as part of the landscape — not separate from it.

Along the way, you might discover hidden Maasai rock art, ancient stone tools, or secluded valleys untouched by vehicles or tourists. With mild weather, sunny days, and cool nights, the Serengeti offers ideal conditions for extended walking safaris.

It was a safari in the literal sense. A true journey, out of the West and into Africa. Instead of seeing the bush, you helped us experience it.
